Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to Sight Moon

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, responsible for spotting the moon in Pakistan, will gather in Peshawar on Monday, March 11th, to determine the beginning of Ramadan, the sacred month. Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, the committee’s leader, will oversee the meeting, where they’ll collect information and hear from witnesses to ascertain if the crescent moon, signaling the start of Ramadan, has been sighted.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad emphasized the significance of organizing moon sighting efforts across Pakistan during Ramadan. He urged all Pakistanis to participate in the search for the moon on the designated evening.

The meeting aims to facilitate the sighting and announcement of the Ramadan moon, ensuring the accurate commencement of this auspicious month for Muslims nationwide.
